Hi Everyone!
I’m writing with onsite lodging guidelines/information. I’ll lay out some information then tell you what you need you to do to reserve a spot.
What you need to know
Your 3 lodging options:
Lodges
- Stumblin’ distance from the party
- Have electricity and heat
- Accommodate 24-28 guests each
- Each lodge has 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms – on each end is a large room with 10-12 beds (nose-to-feet single bunk mattress) and a bathroom – in the middle of those is a common area
- $400/lodge
- $20/person IF the lodge is full – if your lodge is not full, expect to pay a little more…I will fill a lodge before I begin placing in the next
Rustic Log Cabins
- Operative word: rustic
- Located in wooded area away from main camp
- Have electricity, no heat
- 12 built-in beds in each
- Bathroom facilities within walking distance
Tent Camping
- No electricity, heat or water
- Located one mile from main camp
- Walking distance to bathrooms in dining hall
- Bring your own tent
- $10/person
If you would like to be in the same lodge as another person or couple, let me know.
You must bring your own linens (bedding, towels etc.) and toiletries.
Breakfast
All guests have the option of eating breakfast at camp. $7/person. I don’t know what time it will be served or have a menu, but will post all on the blog when I get it.
What you need to do:
1. Decide where you want to stay
2. Decide who you’d like to shack with
3. Decide if you’ll have breakfast
4. Email me (reneneb@gmail.com) and let me know what you’ve decided
My working deadline for accepting reservations is October 18.
If you make a reservation, I will send you an email confirming your lodging, breakfast choice and giving you your total cost by October 25. I haven’t figured out the details of collecting payment, but will probably collect the weekend of the event. I’ll get back to you about that.
Please email me with any questions and allow me 2 days to respond. I cannot wait to meet some of you and to celebrate with all of ya!
Rene (Alicia’s Martin Short)
